I wonder how much abundance would flow in…

We have so much power when we use our expectations to anticipate having an exceptional day.  So why don’t we use this power?  Of course our habits get in the way, our fears tell us to expect the worst so we won’t be disappointed, and our training from our families and society teaches us to do what our elders have done… be careful, be safe, and expect things to go wrong!

But just imagine having an exceptional day *because* you planned for it, expected it, and acted as if it were coming your way.  Wow, that would be an incredible day full of joy and gratitude, not to mention a day of wonderful surprises and abundance!

Expectations direct our energy,
and, therefore, our outcomes.

We could combine last week’s newsletter One Now at a Time (http://www.attractingabundance.com/eft/one-now-at-a-time)  with this week’s topic, Expect an Exceptional Day and make a profound shift in each day we are open to experiencing in this lifetime.

Let’s say that you are accustomed to expecting the worst to happen, or that you tend to plan for things to go wrong so that you will be “prepared” for whatever happens.  How hard would it be to change these habits?  I invite you to try by expecting an exceptional day today, tomorrow, or the next day!

The habit of planning for things to go wrong is a “tappable issue” with EFT.  So is the fear that you might be disappointed if things work out in a different way than you expected.

Here’s what I know…
People who expect an exceptional day
attract more success and abundance!

So it’s time for the yes, but section of my newsletter to help identify what we need to clear out of our energy systems with EFT/Meridian Tapping. Here are some typical yes, buts that surface when I suggest in workshops that we all plan for or expect to have an exceptional day:

(1) Yes, but… I have a habit of anticipating the worst in my day, I’ve done it for years.

Yes, this is a bad habit, and is a tappable issue.  Just because you’ve done something for years doesn’t mean you can’t undo it in minutes… “Even though I have this habit of planning for the worst…”

(2) Yes, but… I need to be “realistic” don’t I?

So many of us were warned to be “realistic” about life, which meant to anticipate the fears or problems our families or parents had.  Don’t you get a little tired of being realistic sometimes?  I know I do…

(3) Yes, but… I don’t want to be surprised if the day ends up being lousy.  I might be disappointed.

Somewhere along the line we were convinced that getting our hopes up was dangerous, that we would inevitably be disappointed.  This is of course a tappable issue, as is the original event that “taught” you this equation. “Even though I’m afraid to get my hopes up, I might be disappointed…”

(4) Yes, but… I see nothing but “downsides” to expecting an exceptional day… sounds like a waste of time to me.

Many people see more “downsides” to expecting an exceptional day… But there are so many “upsides” and benefits.  Again, a tappable issue: “Even though I don’t see the value in expecting things to go well…”

The good news is that you can treat whichever yes, buts you have with basic EFT tapping!  Are you holding yourself back in your life because of any of these yes, buts or layers of resistance?  If so, the yes, buts can all be formed into tappable issues with EFT/Meridian Tapping.

The question I invite you to ask yourself is:

Why are you still anticipating or expecting
a bad day instead of an exceptional
or even your “best” day ever?

Read over the questions below to help you uncover what may be blocking you from practicing this new habit – expecting an exceptional day, each and every day…

(1) What’s the “downside” to planning an exceptional day?

(2) Does it feel “unsafe” to plan for an exceptional day?

(3) Are you more comfortable with the habit of anticipating trouble in your day?

(4) How does it “serve” you to plan for a bad day?

These are all powerful questions that I recommend you answer as best you are able… once you know the upside of expecting the worst, you can make healthier changes and choices about your expectations and plan for many exceptional days!

Maybe you don’t believe that keeping this same pattern is serving you, but it must be, or else you would be committed, even inspired to change.

enjoy your vibration of abundance!

pay attention to each “now” that crosses our path…
I wonder how much abundance
would start to show up?

I am writing about this topic because I am not very good at staying in the now and knew I needed to teach myself something and remind myself of how powerful it can be to observe, witness and appreciate each now that comes up, one now at a time…

Why am I so lousy at focusing and staying in the now?  Because I was taught by everyone I ever met in my entire life to:

(1) Get as much done as possible

(2) Do it quickly, and

(3) If you are able to get anything done “ahead of time” then do so!

How about you?

In addition, I am an olympian skilled athlete when it comes to multi-tasking… something “they” say is really bad for your brain and mind because you don’t get anything done well, much less completely.  (In defense of some of my multi-tasking, I do get a lot done and I get it done really well, but that doesn’t mean I should continue doing it!)  I think multi-tasking is exhausting and not good for my attention span, and then of course it interrupts my ability to be deeply focused in my now moments.

Anyway, back to my new commitment and intention to be present, one now at a time…

So let’s say you run your life the way I do – always doing 3 things at once, juggling work, family, social life and health, never quite slowing down long enough to recognize as many valuable nows as you wish you could.  I actually have gotten much better at this, and I feel the benefits as I recognize my now moments more frequently. I am just intending for myself and inviting you to recognize even more of them…

What if you noticed how many “nows”
are in your life and just how
valuable each one is?

Then what…

OK, then we’d need a plan to replace our multi-tasking behavior with an intention and behavior of focusing on each now in our lives (to the best of our ability…) I’m not asking you to change radically, that never works.  But how about noticing more of those precious now moments?

Here’s what I know…
People who are able to appreciate
most of their nows – one now at a time -
attract more success and abundance!

(1) Yes, but… I’m too busy to keep focusing on my “now” moments.

Yes, being too busy will block this focus, so how about tapping on being too busy, learning how to say “no” to what doesn’t work, and making time for this meditative, rewarding behavior?  “Even though I’m too busy to do what’s good for me…”

(2) Yes, but… I have to pay attention to my future or else I won’t be ready for it.

I know we were all taught this, but it’s not factually true.  Paying attention to the future doesn’t make you ready or prepared, it just takes you out of your present.

(3) Yes, but… I don’t want to miss anything by being so focused on my now… I want to be able to catch everything that’s going on.

This statement is somewhat contradictory, isn’t it?  If you are focused in your now, you will catch what’s going on… you won’t miss anything important, since the nows are what are important!  “Even though I’m afraid I’m going to miss something…”

(4) Yes, but… I don’t see much “upside” to being in the now all the time.

Many people see more “downsides” to being in the now… But there are so many “upsides” and benefits.  Again, a tappable issue…

The good news is that we can treat whichever yes, buts you have with tapping!  Are you holding yourself back in your life because of any of these yes, buts or layers of resistance?  If so, the yes, buts can all be formed into tappable issues with EFT/Meridian Tapping.

(2) Does it feel “unsafe” to be focused in the now?

(3) Are you more comfortable with the habit of worring or having anxiety over your past or future?

(4) Are you afraid of  being present, or in the “now”?

(5) What is the “upside” of being distracted by the past or future?

These are all powerful questions that I recommend you answer as best you are able… once you know the upside of being focused on your past or future, you can make healthier changes and choices.  So try and figure out,

for our abundance to show up?

I am absolutely terrible at waiting for anything! I am incredibly impatient, constantly check on how my seeds are “growing” and in general, can’t stand to wait!  But when Law of Attraction teachers suggested I could feel happy while I waited, my energy totally shifted,  and I started to practice this new way of being.

So why should we try to be happy while we wait for anything in our lives? Because we have to wait anyway, being happy is a lot of fun, and being happy will speed up the manifestations of what we’ve asked for… It’s a simple formula to follow, but of course, it’s not easy to do.

If you could be happy while you waited for all the abundance you have asked for, your vibration would improve, and when your vibration improves, you attract more abundance into your life.

But… I’m anything BUT happy when
I am waiting for something…

I know, but it’s worth an experiment!  Waiting in and of itself makes a lot of people unhappy, impatient, cranky etc. so let’s move that vibration out of our lives and replace it with something better.  The vibration of being unhappy or impatient does not match the vibration of abundance, so it’s important to start feeling and vibrating in a place that actually “matches” what you are asking for, or else “it” (abundance) stays away.  This is the simple explanation of Law of Attraction.

Here’s what I know…
People who are”happy while they wait”
attract more success and abundance!

Here are some typical yes, buts that surface when I suggest in workshops that participants feel happy while they are waiting for their abundance to show up…

(1) Yes, but… waiting actually makes me unhappy, so how can I possibly be happy while I wait?

Waiting by itself shouldn’t necessarily make us unhappy.  More importantly, this feeling of “unhappiness” is a tappable issue with EFT.  When you get that itchy feeling of waiting and being impatient, you could use EFT and tap on the sequence of points to relieve these emotions.  “Even though waiting makes me unhappy…”

(2) Yes, but… I don’t trust that being happy ahead of time will do anything for my abundance manifestations.

If our focus is on getting the abundance, we actually slow down the manifestation process.  So try not to see the point of this exercise as to “get” what you want, but rather to feel better while you wait.  A lot of surprises might show up along the way, I know they have for me.

(3) Yes, but… what if it doesn’t feel ”right” or normal if I try to feel happy while I’m waiting – I’d rather worry!

Is worry a habit?  A necessity?  Do you feel unsafe if you are feeling happy?  Scared unless you are worrying? All great tappable issues.  “Even though I’m a worrier and don’t know how to stop it…”

(4) Yes, but… trying to feel happy isn’t “true” if I have to wait, so aren’t I just pretending or lying to myself?

Pretending is not a bad thing, in fact it’s a primary piece of visualization exercises.  We are talking about looking for things to make you happy since you have to wait anyway!  When you look for reasons to be happy, you usually find them… try it.

I am sure that at least one of the above yes, buts resonates with you.  Are you holding yourself back in your life because of any of these yes, buts or layers of resistance?  If so, the yes, buts can all be formed into tappable issues with EFT/Meridian Tapping.

The question I invite you to ask yourself is:

Why are you still allowing yourself to wallow
in unhappiness while you wait for your
abundance to come into your life?

Sometimes it is challenging to read the above statements and uncover your blocks, so see if any of the questions below help you uncover what’s blocking you from making the effort to be happy while you wait…

(1) What’s the “downside” to being happy while you wait?

(2) Does it feel “unsafe” to be happy while you wait?

(3) Are you more comfortable/ familiar with being unhappy?

(4) Are you afraid of happiness?

(5) What is the “upside” of being unhappy every time you’re waiting for something?

These are all powerful questions that I recommend you answer as best you are able… once we know the upside of being unhappy and impatient, we can make healthier changes and choices.  So try and figure out,

How does remaining unhappy
every time you have to wait
for something ”serve” you?

Maybe you don’t believe that staying “the same” is serving you, but it must be, or else you would be committed, even inspired to change.

our lives will change for the better and
abundance will start flowing!

Why?  Because being embroiled in emotional drama interrupts the energetic signals about success and abundance you have been trying to communicate to the Universe!

Yes, it’s time to drop our drama.  This “invitation” shocks many people.  Drama? Who, Me? I don’t have any drama in my life… Yes, we all have a certain amount of drama in our lives that we rely upon or stir up for a variety of reasons.

If you could drop your drama, your vibration would improve, and when your vibration improves, you can attract more abundance!

But if we’re attached to our drama,
letting it go feels unsafe!

Yes, this is true.  Being attached to drama automatically means it will be challenging to let it go.  Some of you reading this have already had a “no, thanks” reaction.  Why do we get “attached” to drama?  Because it’s frequent, familiar and distracting.  In other words, it “works” so we keep it in our lives.

Here’s what I know…
People who “drop their drama”
attract more success!

But dropping our drama can feel threatening in so many ways, that’s the bad news.  We hold on to it for so many reasons – it’s familiar, it’s a crutch, it’s comfortable and has value as a distraction from what we need to (“should”) address.  The good news is that all these conflicts we have about dropping our drama can be handled and collapsed with EFT/ Meridian Tapping.

So it’s time for the “yes, but” section of my newsletter :-) Here are some typical “yes, buts” I find in myself and workshop participants when I suggest that we drop the drama from daily life:

(1) Yes, but… I’m afraid to drop the drama from my life because it’s so familiar!

Drama can indeed become familiar to us, so familiar that we almost have withdrawal symptoms when we let it go!  When a pattern is comfortable and familiar, we tend to ignore whether it is good for us or not, because it is too uncomfortable to live without it.  Engaging in drama on a regular basis makes it feel “necessary” even if it blocks your success.

(2) Yes, but… I don’t know who I’ll be without all the exciting drama in my life!

As usual, our identity issues come up when we try to “let go” of something in our lives.  It’s actually a good question to ask yourself, “who will I be without my drama?” This fear of being someone different or changing too much is a tappable issue with EFT.

(3) Yes, but… What if I don’t feel safe without all the drama in my life?

Ask yourself how the drama makes you feel safe?  How does it protect you?  What buffer does it offer you?  These are excellent questions so you can identify what you actually need to tap on.  And what do you mean, “safe”?  “Even though the drama makes me feel safe from….”

(4) Yes, but… My drama distracts me from problems I’m afraid to face.

Yes, it certainly does, which is why so many of us are reluctant to drop it from our lives!  When we are constantly putting out fires (as the expression goes…) we don’t make time for simple issues or larger issues we need to face such as our kids, our marriage, or our health.  Sometimes these problems become the “elephant in the living room” that we continuously walk around and ignore.  The drama helps us do this…  “Even though I’m afraid to face what’s underneath the drama…”

(5) Yes, but what if my life is boring without drama?

When you are accustomed to adrenaline running through your body 24/7, you’re right, the difference might feel a little boring, but in time, I believe you will come to appreciate, love and even crave this kind of peace of mind and tranquility.  And besides, you can have excitement, passion and fulfillment without having drama.  “Even though my life might be boring without all the drama…”

(6) Yes, but… They always bring their drama to me, it’s not my fault!

If it’s in your life, you’ve been a part of the cycle that attracts it energetically.  And even if you blame them for bringing it to you, and are afraid they’ll be mad if you don’t “accept” their drama anymore, you can tap on it: “Even though I’m afraid they’ll be mad at me if I don’t engage in their drama anymore…”

I am sure that at least one of the above reasons for holding onto your drama resonates with you.  Are you holding yourself back in your life because of any of these “yes, buts” or layers of resistance?  If so, the “yes, buts” are all tappable issues with EFT/Meridian Tapping.

The question I invite you to ask yourself is:

Why are you still fighting to keep
the drama in your life…?

When we fight to hold onto something, there is usually a “safety” issue underneath the conflict.

Sometimes it is challenging to read the above statements and uncover your blocks, so see if any of the questions below help you uncover what’s blocking you from releasing emotional drama from your life.

(1) What’s the “downside” to dropping the drama from your life?

(2) Does it feel “unsafe” to be still and quiet?

(3) Are you more comfortable/ familiar with a life full of drama?

(4) Are you afraid of the success you might have without drama?

(5) What is the “upside” of keeping the drama in your life?

(6) What problem might you be forced to face without the drama to distract you?

These are all powerful questions that I recommend you answer as best you are able… once we know the “upside” of keeping drama, we can make healthier changes and choices.  So try and figure out,

How does keeping drama
in your life ”serve” you?

Maybe you don’t believe that staying “the same” is serving you, but it must be, or else you would be committed, even inspired to change.

If you could make this small commitment of tapping with EFT just 10 minutes a day, I am convinced your life would change.  How? If you used tapping to clear past events, eliminate your current reactions to stress and dilute future worries, you’d be different “energetically” wouldn’t you?  What kind of “different” you ask?  Happier, calmer, less reactive, more creative — all good things!

If it’s so simple, why is it so difficult to do?

So what’s the big deal?  Most of us say that we want to change, but the truth is, we’re not sure we want anything to be different!  There are so many blocks to changing, and they always interfere with a commitment as simple as just 10 minutes a day.

Here’s what I know…
People who tap every day
become more successful!

Most of you reading this have had the exciting experience of getting results with tapping, otherwise, you probably wouldn’t “be” here.  So you’ve had success, you know it works, you know combining EFT and Law of Attraction is profoundly effective, and yet, you “forget” to tap, skip it for a few days, neglect your mental health… so there must be a reason to *not* take care of yourself.  This brings us to the “yes, but” section of my newsletter :-)

Here are some typical “yes, buts” I find in myself and workshop participants regarding doing daily tapping:

(1) I’m afraid to do what’s good for me, it might work…

What this tells us is that we are all a little bit afraid of changing, even for the better.   What if it does work (and we already know that tapping does work…)?  What feels threatening about changing? What are you afraid of if you change?

(2) I don’t want to spend the time doing the tapping every day.

Why not?  Spending 10 minutes a day tapping on fears, hurts, anxiety or guilt would yield incredible results in a very short amount of time!  That’s been my experience for nearly 13 years.  Is it possible you don’t think you’re worth spending the time?  Or does it go back to the fear of changing…

(3) What if I don’t recognize myself with all the changes I make by tapping?

This is the classic “identity” issue and fear — if you change too much, you might feel out of balance or disoriented.  In my experience, we never change that dramatically without the emotional strength to handle it!  But this is a wonderful “tappable issue” of course…

(4) What if changing significantly rocks the boat in my family?

Sure, changing could and may well rock the boat in your family, which means the family dynamics will change or at least be a bit off balance.  This is again a “tappable issue.”

(5) I don’t want others to have too many expectations if I do change by doing my tapping.

Why not? What’s wrong with others having expectations?  You don’t have to manage anyone else’s expectations, just your own!  “Even though I’m afraid of their expectations…”

(6) I don’t know how I will maintain the changes…

OK, this can be challenging, but not if you’ve gotten to the core issue.  When you truly knock down the reasons you were sticking to old behavior, there’s no need to “maintain” the change — it’s maintained naturally by the new energetic patterns inside of you. “Even though I’m afraid it will be too much work to maintain the changes I make…”

(7) I’m scared of what I might uncover if I tap by myself.

If this is the case, first tap on this fear, then consult an EFT practitioner in your area who has lots of experience!

I am sure that at least one of the above reasons resonates with you.  Are you holding yourself back because of any of these “yes, buts” or levels of resistance?  If so, they are all tappable issues with EFT/Meridian Tapping.

The question we all need to ask ourselves is,

Why aren’t you already doing your
daily tapping for simple stress relief?

If you don’t want to get into “deep” issues from the past, that’s understandable.  If you are afraid to let go of some conflicts you have been using to keep people away, that’s common.  But tapping on daily stress issues is a simple request to make of yourself and your time.

What about those annoying emails that come in…. tap while you read them, tap and tap until they are no longer “annoying” to you!

What about the traffic jams that are bound to make you late… tap and tap until your energy changes and watch what happens with the traffic!

What about issues with the kids? Are you tapping before you yell at them?  Are you tapping before barking at their teachers? Tapping before you say “stop whining…”

What about issues in your other primary relationships?  I have made it a habit to tap *before* I pick up the telephone so I am totally present emotionally before I ask someone for something, inquire about an issue or talk about something challenging with my loved ones.

Sometimes it is challenging to read the above statements and uncover your blocks, so see if any of the questions below help you uncover what’s blocking you from tapping on a daily basis.

(1) What’s the “downside” to reducing your stress?

(2) Does it feel “unsafe” to feel more calm and centered?

(3) Are you more comfortable with the drama in your life?

(4) Are you afraid to be too powerful if you release the stress?

(5) How does staying the way you are “serve” you?

to really feel your pulse, to notice the rhythm of your body,
and hear your heart’s messages?

For most of us, it’s been a long time, much longer in fact than is good for us.  And as a result of not being quiet enough to pay attention to our inner world, we lose touch with the inner messages, both simple and profound, about what decisions are really good for our lives.

Unfortunately, the excuses for not taking the time to be quiet are many. Personally, my primary excuse is that I have too much to do… I’m too busy, there’s too much on my plate.  But I have recently made a new commitment (I had to re-commit to this one!) to take the time every day to stop, be quiet, and listen to my inner voice.

Which excuses do you use?  Below are some typical “yes, buts that I and my workshop participants use to avoid or “forget” to be quiet during the day:

(1) I’m too busy to take time to be quiet, I can’t afford the extra time.

Actually, you can’t afford *not* to take the extra time.  It will save you so much time later if you are still and quiet for a few minutes a day and if you listen to what is right for you.

(2) I don’t know how to really be quiet and make it useful.

This is a common complaint – we weren’t taught how to make “being quiet” useful for us, so we don’t know “how” to be quiet and improve our lives.  Sometimes we just need to practice being quiet, and notice the benefits later.  In other words, be quiet every day, and don’t focus on “usefulness” yet.

(3) It doesn’t feel safe to be quiet, I don’t like what I hear.

This is a wonderful “tappable” issue of course, because it means that at least one time in your life, when you were quiet, you were very uncomfortable with the “messages” you received.  Tapping on this fear of not being safe will move you forward dramatically.

(4) I get bored being quiet.  I need to be doing something more “productive.”

Yes, this represents our societal value system to be “productive.”  If we could only realize how “productive” we could be by being quiet and still in our lives.  Getting bored?  No worries, that’s a “tappable” issue as well.

(5) What’s the point of being quiet — I don’t see the value.

There are so many “points” of being quiet, the main one being that it’s good for your body and soul.  Isn’t that valuable enough?

(6) It seems like a waste of time, I don’t expect it to help me be more successful in my business.

Again, this reflects the hurrying mode we are all in… so we feel compelled not to “waste” any time, and need every minute to be “productive” for our businesses.  Nothing could be further from the truth – slowing down and being still and quiet couldn’t be a better use of your time, regardless of the business you own.

What if we could actually feel inspired to take time to be quiet and listen to our heart every day?

What if we could start to look forward to these “quiet times” in our day, to cherish and protect these times of stillness and self-reflection.

What if we committed to ourselves that we would take a few minutes every day to listen to our heart… I wonder how much would improve in our lives…

Why aren’t you already taking time to be still and quiet every day
to listen and respect what your heart is telling you?

In spite of my sporadic commitment to “being quiet” — I have found so many benefits of being quiet and listening to my heart’s wisdom.  Here is my “top ten” list of benefits of being quiet and listening to what’s going on inside…

(1) Being quiet allows you to access your heart’s wisdom.

We all have incredible wisdom available to us, but we can’t access what we don’t take time to hear.

(2) Being quiet slows down your racing energy from the tasks of the day.

We all need a rest, a break from the high intensity pace we move at during the day.

(3) Being quiet actually helps you solve the problems that are taking up so much of your energy.

If we don’t listen to our inner wisdom, we can’t solve the problems of our lives.

(4) Allowing yourself time to be quiet slows down your reactivity… helps you be more measured when there are crisis situations.

Wouldn’t it be nice to be less reactive in your life? Wouldn’t it be a relief to be more useful in a crisis situation?

(5) Taking time to be still and quiet gets your body’s rhythms back in sync… you’ll feel more calm, centered and strong.

Stress from all parts of our lives creates tension and we tend to override the messages we should be paying attention to.  Taking the time to be still and quiet slows this process down so you can feel more centered physically and emotionally.

(6)  Taking time to be quiet and listen to your internal wisdom raises your vibration immediately.

Remember, that’s the name of the game — we want to find new ways to raise our vibration so the Universe “notices” that we are joyful and can interpret what we want.

(7) Being quiet allows you to be able to access your creative voice which is good for your business and personal life.

I love being creative (see my newsletter from a few weeks ago, “More Creativity, Please…”) because it helps me personally and professionally.  I seem to “hear” better ideas, execute them more elegantly, and overall, feel more peaceful about my life.

(8) Being quiet helps you focus on what you do want, not what you don’t want.

Sometimes in the busy day, we are more focused on what we are trying to fix rather than on what we want to manifest.  Being quiet helps us remember what we do want.

(9) Allowing yourself time to be quiet gives you emotional relief from the daily static and stress of your life.

Any time we are adding “relief” to our day, we are raising our vibration and allowing ourselves to manifest more abundance.

(10) Being quiet… is, well, quiet and restful, and being quiet and restful is good for all the systems in your body and your mind.

When you take care of your immune system, your body/mind connection and the balance in your life, you will be more successful in every part of your life.

The important question is:
Are you worth it?

This “habit” of taking time to be quiet should be right up there with sleeping, brushing your teeth and tapping… so why isn’t it on your daily schedule?

It’s your choice…
Choose to put aside time to be still and quiet,
to listen to and respect your inner wisdom

nd watch your vibration improve!

As all Law of Attraction teachers say — it’s all energy!  So change your energy of being frazzled and exhausted, and choose to take time for yourself.  You are worth it, and this behavior will surely invite the Universe to come to your side and help you create more abundance today.

*choose* a new ending for all the stories
we keep telling about our lives?

What if we could actually choose new endings for every day, every scenario, every outcome we think about…

What if we could alter the outcomes in our lives by choosing new endings…

What if we could attract more abundance by accessing new energetic endings to what’s happening in our lives…

So in our professional lives, instead of telling the same old story (“it never works for me, someone else always gets promoted, my work is never recognized…”) we could actually choose a new ending and tell the story about our professional life with new energy and expectations… It might sound like this:

It was so gratifying to have my work recognized, I love that feeling!
I’m so happy now that I’m being chosen for wonderful projects.
It feels so good to be sought after in my field…

And with relationships, instead of singing the same song that says “I never find the right one… all the good ones are taken… I’m too old, too young, too big, too small to be chosen…” we could choose a new ending for this story:

It has been so much fun to meet so many potential partners.
I am anticipating an abundance of potential partners available to me!
I feel so hopeful, I wouldn’t be surprised if I met someone tomorrow!

And with our health, we could stop assuming and expecting that we will get ill or have the usual aches and pains and start choosing new endings for our bodies and enjoy strength and well being.  These new endings might sound like this:

I love my strong and healthy body…
I’m so grateful my body’s wisdom informs me of what I need.
It’s so nice to know I have a healthy body and keep making it healthier.

The important question is,

Why aren’t you already choosing
new endings for the stories in your life?

It never occurred to me that I could use imagination, hope, and optimism to actually empower myself by “choosing” new endings to each and every scenario in my life.  So I was just innocently ignorant – I didn’t know that this was an option until I started studying the Law of Attraction materials.  Then I had to do some tapping on my resistance (my yes, buts) to choosing new endings, and my fears that it still wouldn’t work out, but I soon became more creative and eager for the best possible outcomes.

What’s blocking you to choosing new endings to your typical storylines?

What’s the “downside” to choosing a new ending?
Does it feel “safe” to imagine a different outcome?
Are you more comfortable staying the way you are?
Are you afraid to try someting new?

Choose a new ending to your typical story
and watch the Universe chip in!

Below are some of the benefits of choosing a new ending to your stories:

(1) Choosing new endings invites you to be really creative.

It makes you picture new endings and rewrite what you’ve always told as your story… be a screenwriter for a day!

(2) Choosing new endings helps you focus on what you truly do want rather than what you don’t want.

This exercise really helps you focus on what you do want, because choosing a new ending directs you towards an ending that would be better, more enjoyable, more pleasing to you than what you usually anticipate.

(3) Choosing new endings brings you immediate emotional relief.

Just getting a break from the old, tired endings you usually tell is a relief, and relief feels good in your body and your mind!

(4) Choosing new endings raises your vibration right now.

When we choose new endings that are positive and uplifting, our vibration is raised and the Universe hears our true desires, not the old stories we expect to happen.

Act as if your “new” endings are probable…
Look forward to the time when they come true,
And watch your vibration improve!

I always ask my workshop participants what the “yes, buts” are to choosing new endings… Typical answers (which of course become tappable issues with EFT/Meridian Tapping) include:

(1) Yes, but it seems like a waste of time…

When we want to improve or change our lives, it does take a small investment of time and effort.  But you’re worth it!  Set aside the time and create new endings to the old stories you keep telling.  Or tap for this resistance…

(2) Yes, but I don’t feel safe with anything other than what I know.

I know, it’s more familiar to stay with the standard routine, but what an opportunity to practice having new and exciting experiences! This is a tappable issue of course…

(3) Yes, but, I’ll only be disappointed when the new endings don’t come true.

The purpose of choosing new endings is to change your energy, and when your energy changes, your signals to the Universe change, and then you can have new endings in your life.  Stay focused on the improvements in your energy first, the real changes will manifest in time.

(4) Yes, but, I might as well face the truth of what usually happens for me.

We keep making the “truth” happen over and over again based on our expectations, our energy and our beliefs.  Start choosing new endings and start believing they will come true, and your “truth” will change!
